About the Organization

The CEPT Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) is a multidisciplinary think-do-tank promoted by CEPT University. After more than four decades of consultancy, research and advisory work, the university established CRDF in 2013 under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 (non-profit company), to undertake and manage the increasing volumes of research work in the domain. It is a wholly owned but separate entity of CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• The candidates will execute and manage R&D activities at the centre.
• They will work on various projects and techniques, contributing to the development and leading to research in Building Science, Energy Efficient Building Systems, Computer Software Development, Statistical Analysis, Data Collection, and Analysis.
• The role will require strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Field and survey experience will be considered a valuable asset.
• Proficiency in writing skills will provide an additional advantage.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• An individual holding a PhD with a first-class or equivalent grade in the fields of architecture and design, building science, building energy simulation, or mechanical engineering, with a consistently strong academic track record, will be required.
• They must also have at least three years of teaching, research, or industrial experience after completing their Ph.D.
• Alternatively, an exceptional architect, designer, engineer, or technologist with a first-class B. Tech., M.Sc., M.Arch, M.Plan, or M.Tech (or equivalent) and a minimum of six to eight years of relevant industry experience in a reputable organisation will be considered.
• Candidates in this category should have made substantial contributions to knowledge, even if they do not possess a Ph.D. degree.
