Role Overview

The CEO’s Fellow is part of an elite, small cohort embedded within the CEO’s Office. Fellows operate as force multipliers—solving priority problems, driving cross-unit initiatives, and shaping growth experiments across Platforms, Practice, and Programs. We currently have 5 Fellows (scaling to 10) working closely with the CEO and the executive team.

You’ll thrive here if: you’re strategic and hands-on, can move from boardroom decks to field pilots, and love turning ambiguity into structured, scalable plays.

Key Responsibilities

1) Strategy & CEO Support

●       Co-develop annual/quarterly priorities, OKRs, and growth bets for CSRBOX Group and BharatCares.

●       Build decision memos, models, and narrative decks for partners, boards, and government.

2) Program & Deal Acceleration

●       Incubate 0→1 pilots (e.g., state CSR PMUs, water/river coalitions, AI-education initiatives, public health programs) and take them to 1→N scale.

●       Coordinate with consulting, program delivery, and media units to align pipeline → proposals → delivery.

3) Special Projects & PMO

●       Run CEO-priority sprints (2–8 weeks): define scope, resources, timelines, and success metrics; clear blockers; publish post-mortems and playbooks.

4) Insights, Research & Market Intelligence

●       Track policy/CSR/ESG trends, competitive landscapes, partner signals; convert insights into actionable theses and go-to-market artefacts.

5) Stakeholder & Partnership Management

●       Serve as a trusted point of contact for senior corporates, foundations, and government; prep briefs, talking points, MoUs, review notes.

6) Communication & Reporting

●       Own crisp weekly business reviews (WBRs), KPI dashboards, and executive updates; craft external thought-leadership as needed.

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)

  • 3–5 CEO projects delivered end-to-end with documented outcomes and playbooks.
  • 2+ scaled wins (state/sector programs, anchor partnerships, or new revenue lines).
  • Operational uplift: measurable improvements in cadence (WBR/OKR), proposal velocity, and delivery quality.
  • Cross-unit cohesion: visible collaboration across consulting, media, and programs.

Ideal Profile

Education: Postgraduate (preferred in management/public policy/economics/engineering or equivalent). Multidisciplinary backgrounds are valued.

Experience: 2–6 years in development/CSR/consulting/think-tanks/policy/startups or PMO/strategy roles with demonstrated ownership.

Core Competencies

  • Strategic problem-solving, synthesis, and structured writing (memos, decks).
  • Program/PMO excellence—can juggle multiple high-stakes tracks.
  • Executive communication: stakeholder briefs, pitch decks, review notes.
  • Data comfort: build/interpret KPI dashboards; basic financial/ROI models.
  • Tools: Advanced MS Office/Google Workspace; bonus for Notion, Asana, Power BI/Tableau.
  • Personal operating system: speed + judgment, meticulous follow-through, discretion.

Professional Traits

  • Calm under pressure; switches gears rapidly without losing quality.
  • High ownership, low ego; learns fast and shares credit.
  • Strong ethics and confidentiality in sensitive engagements

30–60–90 Plan (Indicative)

  • Day 30: Onboard to units, shadow CEO reviews, publish first issue brief + project tracker.
  • Day 60: Own one CEO sprint; ship an insight deck → partner conversations; implement WBR cadence for a unit.
  • Day 90: Lead a cross-unit initiative; document a repeatable playbook; show early results on at least two KPIs (e.g., proposal TAT, win-rate, pilot-to-scale conversion).

Growth Path

  • Senior Fellow → Chief of Staff (Unit/Vertical) → Strategy Lead / PMO Head / Practice Lead, or spin up a new practice/program.
  • Access to an internal Entrepreneur-in-Residence track to incubate new impact solutions.

When at CSRBOX:

  • Work at the frontier of India’s impact ecosystem, partnering with top corporates, philanthropies, and state governments.
  • Build systems that scale—from district programs to state PMUs and national convenings.
  • High-trust, high-ownership culture with rapid learning loops and visible outcomes.
