ALERT INDIA are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated District Lead – Ahmedabad to join our team under the Global Fund–C19RM Project, implemented in partnership with the William J. Clinton Foundation (WJCF).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the project implementation at the district level and develop, manage, and sustain relationships with the NTEP and General health system (CMHO, BMOs, MOs, CHOs) at the district, Block and Panchayat level.
- Work closely with the district health officials and other NTEP staff to establish a strong working relationship and coordinate to develop weekly/fortnightly/monthly micro plans, ensuring maximum coverage of the planned project activities
- Supervise a team of community coordinators, radiographer, driver and led by the District Supervisor
- Supervise project design requirements including identification of community camp locations, awareness generation planning, liaising with state and district health teams, mobilising communities, preparing for camp operations and data collection along with the district supervisor
- Be the bridge of communication for the State Lead and the district teams
- Work with the district supervisor to devise an efficient monthly and weekly schedule for the camp operations.
- Supervise the quality of population targeting, mobilization, engagement, and implementation through hands-on involvement at community camps, and regular field visits to assigned public health facilities and ensure compliance with the implementation plan
- Help the district supervisor come up with risk mitigation strategies and implement them as and when required
- Make frequent visits to the implementation sites to conduct spot checks and be in close coordination with the district team and government stakeholders for smooth conduction of activities in the field
- Supervise and ensure adherence to M&E plan, backcheck and spot-check data through M&E systems, ensure timely reporting by the field team and conduct periodic review and performance assessment
- Support field team in debottlenecking and problem-solving operational issues and undertake training and handhold field staff through project on-boarding
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience with incremental responsibilities working in Public Health. Experience in TB space or working at District level or with government will be preferred.
- Strong project management and people management skills. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Google forms. Should be willing to travel extensively for project purposes within and outside the respective district.
