Position: Fundraising and Communications Coordinator

Based in Bengaluru, Biome Environmental Trust is a not-for-profit working on sustainable water management through rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, wastewater management and inclusive sanitation. With a focus on ecological and community-based approaches, Biome works with schools, RWA’s, and governments to demonstrate decentralized water solutions.

Biome recently won a ₹25 lakh grant at the Karnataka Rural Water and Sanitation Sustainability Summit to pilot a shallow aquifer-based water supply system in Doddajala Panchayat—offering a climate-resilient alternative to deep borewells. Biome was also a finalist and winner at the SVP Fast Pitch 2025, recognizing its innovative work in the water sector.
