Purpose of Job: Piramal Foundation is dedicated to transforming rural and underserved communities by driving women’s agency and economic empowerment through skilling, digital literacy, leadership development, and placement support. The manager plays a critical role in mobilization, program coordination, data management, and maintaining a motivated pipeline of beneficiaries and placement partners contributing to the Foundation’s mission of inclusive growth and gender equity in employment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Business Administration, or allied fields.​

Preferred Key Skill /Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of government and CSR-led programs (e.g., DDU-GKY, PMKVY, RGSA, PURP, Udgam), awareness of sectoral best practices and challenges.​
  • Willingness for field-intensive travel and ability to operate in multi-cultural, multi- lingual settings; proficiency in English and Hindi, with regional language skills a plus.

Essential Experience

  • 5–7 years’ experience in mobilization, outreach, and placement across skilling/livelihoods projects, with demonstrated success in women-centric/social impact roles.​

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Mobilization & Awareness

  • Design and implement local outreach campaigns and mobilization strategies in partnership with Gram Panchayats, SHGs, and community organizations to reach eligible women and girls in rural, tier 2/3, and catchment areas.​
  • Conduct extensive field visits, organize orientations, and ensure equitable participation, with special focus on hard-to-reach and marginalized groups.
  • Leverage digital platforms and media for awareness creation and onboarding.​

Partnership Building & Placement Support

  • Forge structured relationships with formal sector employers, CSR leads, industry bodies, and government placement agencies to facilitate jobs, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurial opportunities for trained candidates.​
  • Collaborate with government and private partners to align skilling outcomes with market requirements and placement pipelines.​

Program & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams to streamline candidate recruitment, onboarding, curriculum alignment, and documentation for all training and placement activities.​
  • Maintain accurate progress and outcome data, share periodic reports and case studies with leadership and donors.
  • Facilitate post-placement support, feedback, and workplace integration for placed candidates, creating sustainable pathways for women’s advancement.​
