Purpose of Job
|
We are seeking a strategic and impact-oriented Senior Program Leader (SPL) to lead key initiatives and anchor the Gender Centre of Excellence (COE). The SPL should have will be responsible for leading end-to-end gender related program implementation, ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.

Essential Qualifications
|
- PG Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies/Women’s Studies, Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology with requisite skills/experiences may apply.
- Additional qualification (preferably master’s degree) in related theme- Health, Education, Public Health is a plus.

Essential Experience
|
- 3–5 years of experience in program implementation in health, education, sanitation, livelihood, including 3 years of experience in hands-on gender program implementation.
- Expertise in developing, designing and facilitating gender related capacity building plans - content and curriculum building and execution.
- Strong experience in report writing, data presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders and manage interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience of working on government initiatives on gender is an added advantage.

- In-depth knowledge of gender equity, inclusion, and health programs.
- Capacity for innovation, creative thought, and strategic thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong facilitation, documentation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in program management tools; must be practicing quantitative and qualitative analysis (basic level).
- Excellent Microsoft Office competency (Word, Excel, PPT etc)
- Create inclusive environments and promote gender-responsive practices across teams.
- Collaboration with multiple internal/external stakeholders (individual and teams).
- Optional skills:
- Experience in drafting concrete gender policy papers.
- Sound knowledge of gender mainstreaming at the state level.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- End to end implementation of CoE programs across the pillars- Facility Certification, FRU strengthening, Governance and Outreach.
- Monitor program performance through defined key performance indicators and ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of strategic gender intentionality programs across domains in integrated way in coordination with other CoEs and Big Bets.
- Develop gender related resource materials and design and facilitate gender workshops for service providers
- Research and product development around gender and inclusion related agenda
- Identifying resource pool and institution working on gender issues and partnership building.
- Compile program data and insights into structured reports and progress updates.
- Document impact stories and case studies to reflect field-level gender outcomes.
- Design and deliver high-quality presentations for leadership, donors, and partners.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, decks, and documentation.
