About the Organization

Indian Social Science Academy (ISSA) celebrated its 50 years of existence this year. It has remained in the forefront of promoting and integrating science of Nature-Human Society. ISSA promotes both – education and research. The annual event of ISSA remains a landmark in the history to foster its objectives.

About the Conference  

We announce to hold the 48th Indian Social Science Congress between 17-21 June, 2025 at Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir. This will be our Golden Jubilee Congress.

We shall focus our deliberations on, “Science Education and Research in Indian Languages”. The seminars and symposia shall carry the theme, “Our Language, Our Science-Knowledge, Our People and Our State/Country” in all States as a part of its Golden Jubilee. This is in consonance with the Government of Swaraj India New Education Policy in 2020.

It is also proposed to hold Tenth All India Young Scientists Convention during the XLVIII Indian Social Science Congress. All young scientists are welcome to participate.

Like previous years, 28 subjects Research Committees and 21 interdisciplinary Thematic Panels shall deliberate over current intra and interdisciplinary researches in Indian Universities, Colleges and Research Institutes/National/Regional Laboratories. Scientists from all subjects, thinkers, philosophers, policy planners and social activists are cordially invited to present their research-based papers on the focal theme.

It is also proposed to hold Tenth All India Young Scientists Convention during the XLVIII Indian Social Science Congress. All young scientists are welcome to participate in it. Invitation to present Research Papers at Indian Social Science Congress, Kashmir 2025 All those who are engaged in Research in any subject are cordially invited to submit their papers for presentation in the 48th Indian Social Science Congress. Thinkers, Policy Planners, Innovators, Social Activists, etc. too are welcome to submit their papers and participate in the 48th Indian Social Science Congress. Length of full paper can be within 7000-10,000 words whereas its abstract should be within 500-700 words. First abstract of paper should be submitted to the Indian Social Science Academy and full paper should be submitted only after receipt of acceptance of the abstract.
