Scope of Work

Room to Read has collaborated with your agency being a reputed PR firm to bring our thoughts and values, mission, and objectives to the center stage and reinvigorate the conversation around critical issues such as early grade literacy, girls education, and gender equality. Your agency must develop & deliver:

  • high-impact op-eds in consultation with the Room to Read India team, reflecting Room to Read’s understanding of various issues in the education sector.
  • Get the op-eds published in leading newspapers and media channels (both print and online)

The broad items that will be expected to produce over the given period is listed below, but is not limited to the following:

The associated agency shall be notified via email/telephonic interaction regarding the task as and when requirement arises. Each assignment must be completed within Room to Read’s Language Guidelines and within the discussed timelines.

Key Deliverables

The agency must deliver high impact Advertorial/ Editorial, Op-eds, and/or any other related deliverable as directed by Room to Read at any medium recommended (could be print, online, or both) within the mutually agreed timelines.

Confidentiality Clause

Each party acknowledges and confirms that any information received from the other party orally or in writing for the purpose of this Agreement is confidential information. Each party shall keep such information confidential and cannot disclose any related information without the other party’s prior written consent. Any leak of confidential information made by the either party shall be deemed as a leak made by that party, and that party shall be liable for the breach in accordance with this agreement. This clause shall remain in force regardless of whether this Agreement is terminated for any reason.

Location

You will be home based and should be available for frequent discussions over phone or any online mediums and when required by Room to Read. Additionally, you must travel to the India Country Office in Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi whenever required by the team.

Note: Any travel undertaken as part of this assignment will be reimbursed on actual. However, the same needs to be pre-approved by Room to Read in writing.

Technical Evaluation Criteria

Room to Read will evaluate the profiles based on the following criteria:

  • Experience of working for the development sector (5 marks)
  • Technical competence on working with Op-eds, Press-releases, Advertorial, Media Sensitization etc. (10 marks)
  • Work samples of the items mentioned in the table above (5 marks)

HOW TO APPLY

  • Agencies Need to Submit Technical Proposals ONLY  
  • Proposals to be submitted over Procurement.India@roomtoread.org, without copying anyone in RTR.       
  • Last Date for the submission is 27th January 2025.
  • Subject for submission of Technical Proposal is –Proposals – Hiring Agency- Media PR
  • Financial Proposal will be asked later upon successful completion of the technical round.
    • Only Agencies will be contacted and might be called for a face-to-face interaction with the panel.
    • Any incomplete application or process deviation, the proposals will automatically be rejected.
    • Proposals received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered.
    • Selected Agency will be required to sign and abide by the Child Protection policy of Room to Read.
