• Classification of feeds and fodder and their nutrient composition
• Importance of carbohydrate, protein, lipid, minerals and vitamins for various physiological functions
• Ration formulation for dairy animals at different stages
• Feed additives and their use in ruminant ration
• Anti-nutritional factors and mycotoxins in livestock feedstuffs
• Bypass feed technology and its significance in Indian context
• Quality control of feedstuff
• Common metabolic disorders and their nutritional management
• Processing methods of various feed ingredients and their advantages/disadvantages
• Analytical techniques of different feed and feed supplements
• Conservation of forage crops
• Enrichment and densification of crop residues
• Feed and fodder scenario in India with special emphasis to the State of Rajasthan
• Agronomical practices of important fodder crops

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• M.V.Sc.(Animal Nutrition) from a recognized university/institution established by law in India.
