Position Overview:

The Associate Manager – CSR and Civil Infrastructure will lead and support community development projects focusing on the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil infrastructure initiatives. These projects aim to improve community living standards by developing critical infrastructure such as schools, healthcare facilities, sanitation systems, and water supply networks. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and local communities to ensure project success and sustainability.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Program Development and Execution:

  • Identify, design, and implement CSR infrastructure projects based on community needs and organizational goals.
  • Manage the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure projects, including schools, health centers, sanitation facilities, roads, and water systems.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards during project execution.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, building trust and ensuring alignment of goals.
  • Facilitate community participation to foster ownership and sustainability of infrastructure projects.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:

  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits and reporting on key milestones.
  • Evaluate the impact of infrastructure projects on community development and well-being.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project outcomes, including financials, timelines, and lessons learned.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all projects comply with local laws, environmental regulations, and organizational CSR policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks during the planning and execution of projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all project-related activities for audit and compliance purposes.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track expenditures and ensure cost control measures are in place without compromising project quality.
  • Identify funding opportunities or partnerships to enhance project impact and resource availability.

Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for community members on infrastructure usage, maintenance, and sustainability.
  • Document best practices and case studies to support organizational learning and future project planning.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Social Work, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in CSR or infrastructure project management. At least 4 years’ experience in handling civil infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in planning, implementing, and managing civil infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing CSR and construction.
  • Experience in public infra will be an advantage.
