Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Associate Manager – Skills and Placement to drive skill development initiatives and facilitate successful job placements for our participants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends, employer expectations, and skill-building methodologies to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
The Role and Responsibilities:
Skills Development:
Program Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement skill development programs tailored to industry needs.
- Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance technical and soft skills.
Competency Mapping and Assessment:
- Identify skill gaps and design competency frameworks for various job roles.
- Conduct periodic assessments and provide feedback to improve participants' readiness.
Collaborate with Trainers:
- Work closely with internal and external trainers to deliver high-quality training content.
- Ensure training materials are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
Placement Coordination:
Employer Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities.
- Collaborate with companies to understand their hiring requirements and preferences.
Placement Support:
- Facilitate pre-placement activities, including resume building, mock interviews, and counselling.
- Match candidates with suitable job openings and coordinate interview processes.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of placement activities, including employer interactions, candidate status, and feedback.
- Generate reports on placement success rates and provide insights for program improvement.
Qualification and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in skill development, placement, or talent acquisition roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with ATS/CRM systems.
