About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Responsibilities

Manage Issues and Risk:

• Support IT Manager in developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
• Manage the LAN, TCP/IP and troubleshooting, conversant with windows server Administration.
• To handle the dependencies between projects.
• Liaising / coordination with NIC or other vendors as required.
• IT related issues rectification including issues related to e-office & other platforms.
• Should have Knowledge on Networking and Wireless network establishment, Server optimization, IT Hardware and its optimization
• Manage EPBAX & CCTV at NHSRC.
• Conduct IT infrastructure analysis, recommend corrective courses.

Monitoring Progress:

• Manage information technology and application systems.
• Support IT Manager in designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures.
• Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
• File management and movement.
• Maintenance of Audio Video facility installed in Various meeting rooms
• Working Knowledge of E-Office
• AMC and contract management.
• Coordination with divisions over Cloud & Devops needs over various portals
• Optimize and leverage cloud infrastructure solutions, to enhance scalability, security, and cost-efficiency in the management and storage
• Responsible for timely insurance & guaranty / warranty status and record keeping.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and manage backups.
• Identify and deliver cost saving and service improvement initiative/ EOI preparation as per scope of work.
• Any other task tasks assigned by ED/PAO/IT-Manager, NHSRC.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Graduate in any of the following:

• B.Tech -IT/ M.Tech-IT
• B.Tech -Computer
• BE-IT
• BE-Computer
• MCA
• 3 years of Post Qualification work experience in IT support Service/ Network Management/ IT portal development

Skills:

• Should have hands on experience on management of ethernet switches and media.
• Good verbal and writing skill in English.
• Experience in any programming language will be an added advantage.
