Title: Consultant

Location: Vasai (Palghar, Maharashtra)

Duration: 15th February 2025 to 14th June 2025

Consulting Overview:

The consulting will be field based; she will be responsible for a group of 90 girls as their mentor, support system and motivator.

Key Deliverables:

• Conduct life skills sessions for 90 girls in batches of 20-30 as per the prescribed session content and as per agreed plan.
• Conduct group mentoring sessions for 90 girls in batches as per prescribed content guidelines and record each session (the group size in a GM session should not exceed 15 in Grade 6-9 and 20 in Grades 10-12).
• Undertake risk visits, touch base home visits and welcome visits and handle any critical matters that may emerge from these interactions and flag concerns.
• Attend regular weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly & annual review meetings and training sessions.
• Facilitate visits of donors, INCO and SO team members and support in conducting research/study/survey/data collection/baseline etc.
• Do individual mentoring to the participants who are at risk and or as per the need.
• Conduct parents’ meetings, parents’ workshops, SMC Meetings, VCPC Meetings, teachers’ meetings and other relevant meetings.
• Conduct and implement all the key events and programs of the organization.
• Help girls to develop wall magazines and write for state-level Gupshup so that their voices can be captured and distribute the newsletter GUPSHUP, initiate discussion around it and hold follow-up activities.
• Mapping data as per the risk and response protocol and then making specific home visits.
• Setting up life skills center, keeping it functional, all records need to keep safe, need to keep it clean, safe and welcoming to the girls.
• Need to keep updated attendance diaries, SM diaries and home visits diaries on a daily basis.
• Timely record keeping, updating the data and sharing analysis of various parameters like attendance sheets, parents’ meetings, dropouts etc.
• Keep accurate data, maintain documentation, enter the data into the Program Implementation Monitoring System sheet timely and fill data in the Survey CTO App.
• Needs to share success stories.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in education / social sciences or equivalent/ or higher 
• Minimum experience of 2yrs. (1-2 years of relevant experience in the education /development sector including internships).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English / Hindi and the local language of the state where position is based. Like Marathi for Mumbai location.
