About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Description

The Consultant - Human Resource will ensure the proper functioning of the HR (Human Resource) Section including recruitment, onboarding, training, and providing support in implementing the organization’s policies and practices, Medical and Accidental Insurance, Campus Placement etc.

  • Assist Human Resource Manager in managing all HR functions at the NHSRC Office and oversee all HR activities of its branch offices.
  • Preparing Terms of References / Job Advertisements / Tender Documents / SOPs / HR Policies, as and when needed.
  • Undertake recruitment / Probation/ Exit Management/ Issuing Relieving Letter of consultants for NHSRC, RRC-NE.
  • Leave Management and Payroll Processing.
  • Undertake and assist in Annual Performance Appraisal exercise.
  • Responsible For Contract Renewal of the Consultants.
  • Look after the Group Medical Insurance and Personal Accidental Insurance
  • Coordinate with the organization for training of NHSRC personnel and to Onboard the staff on IGOT Portal.
  • Coordinate for Induction of New joiners of NHSRC, RRC-NE and MoH&FW
  • Look after the ISO and ISQUA Audit.
  • Conducting Reference Checks, Preparing Offer Letters & Contracts documents.
  • Managing MIS / Trackers / Database / Dash Boards.
  • Creating Forms & Format – as and when required.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
  • Assist to prepare presentations or reports as assigned, prepare minutes of meeting if required.
  • Undertake any other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time by the Human Resource Manager, Principal Administrative Officer, or the Executive Director, NHSRC.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Regular MBA / Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) in HR from a recognized university/institution with Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience in Recruitment & other HR functions.

Desirable Qualifications

  • In addition to the above, a Diploma/ Certification in Computer Application to cover MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database management, Access Diploma/ Certification in Business Management would be desirable.
  • Working experience in Government / Social Sector is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of governmental recruitment, documentation, filing & correspondence process in Human Resource Management will be preferred.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure and should be a team player.
  • Formal educational qualifications & Experience could be relaxed for suitable candidates
