Job Responsibilities
- Shape and execute Krea University’s content strategy, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and messaging priorities.
- Create high-quality content for digital and print platforms, including the website, blogs, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, email campaigns, social media, video scripts, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Develop compelling narratives and craft marketing campaigns that showcase Krea’s thought leadership, faculty research, student success stories, campus initiatives, and alumni impact
- Develop content for marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with institutional messaging and engagement goals
- Work with faculty, students, alumni, and internal teams to create thought leadership pieces, research articles, case studies, testimonials, and promotional materials.
- Support social media content creation, including writing posts, captions, and campaign narratives that align with Krea’s engagement strategy.
- Collaborate with design and video production teams to create multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and interactive materials.
- Maintain editorial standards, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging across all materials.
- Conduct interviews, research, and fact-checking to develop credible and impactful content.
- Optimise and update website content for engagement, accuracy, and SEO best practices.
- Create and refine press materials, donor reports, alumni stories, institutional publications, and leadership communications, including speechwriting and press releases.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in communications or a related role, with a strong focus on content creation and storytelling.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Experience writing for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing.
- Ability to translate complex academic concepts into engaging and accessible content.
- Proficiency with digital tools, website management, and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of design, video production, or multimedia storytelling is a plus.
- Prior experience in the education sector is preferred but not mandatory.
