Job Description

Professor Neha Bellamkonda, HR & OB area IIMB, is looking to hire research associates to assist with secondary data coding, conducting interviews, qualitative data analysis in projects related to organisational psychology. The position is ideal for those looking to gain research experience in OB and are seriously interested in pursuing a PhD in OB and HRM.

This Research Associate will be fully integrated into the vibrant research community at IIMB. They will interact with HR and OB PhD students, faculty, pre-docs fellows and academic associates. Mentorship and support would be provided to the RA through the process of preparing for and applying to PhD programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing and analyzing secondary data using Nvivo
• Conducting qualitative interviews
• Secondary data coding
• Deliver periodic reports and presentation of findings to the research group.
• Conduct literature reviews.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Masters in psychology and allied areas/ MBA with HR specialization

 Key Skill and Ability Requirements

• Prior coursework in Psychology, Organizational behavior
• Experience in conducting qualitative research
• Proficiency with tools like NVivo, MAXQDA
• Ideally, experience as a research assistant or independent research experience related to OB (e.g. thesis, independent working paper/term paper).
• Self-motivated to succeed in research and ability to work independently.
