About the Organization

The Panchayat & Rural Development Department largely works to enhance livelihood oppourtinities, address chronic poverty, provides social security and works for economic inclusion of rural poor families. The Panchayat & Rural Development Department has been implementiong a number of programmes in the rural area of the State by empowering rural poor through power of rights based law, aiming to transform the geography of poverty in the State.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Desired Qualification

• M. Tech/M.E/M.Sc. in Geographic Information Science or Technology/Remote Sensing & GIS/GeoSpatial Technology/GeoInformatics/Geo-Spatial science/Surveying and Geo-Informatics OR BE/B.Tech with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/Remote sensing from recognized university/Institute

                                                OR

• MCA with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/Remote sensing from recognized university/Institute

                                                 OR

• Post Graduate in Science/Agricultural Science with PG Diploma in Geographic Information Science/Remote sensing from recognized university/Institute

Experience

At least 3 years of Work Experience in GIS-based projects in reputed government funded organizations like NIRD&PR, NRSC, Geo-SRSAC etc. or similar reputed organizations working on GIS based projects.

Salary

Rs.70,000 plus Travelling allowance @ max. 10% of Emoluments based on actual bills
