Project: Tribal TB Active Case Finding Initiative
This project, implemented by Piramal Foundation in partnership with the STOP TB Partnership and supported through the U.S. Department of State, aims to strengthen tuberculosis (TB) detection and linkage to treatment among underserved tribal populations across India. Phase 1 of the initiative will screen approximately 2 million people across 24 districts in 8 high-burden states using 150 mobile screening teams equipped with AI-enabled portable digital X-ray and molecular diagnostic tools. The project will deploy a large field workforce supported by strong monitoring and program management structures to ensure quality, speed, and accountability. The following role contributes to this effort by supporting community screening, diagnostics, coordination, monitoring, and linkage to TB treatment under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP).
Role Summary
- Get trained in SOPs & Protocol of Community-based screening of tribal population in India under NTEP and under this project
- Seek the baseline data within 2 weeks of joining as per monitoring indicators reporting under the project
- Manage digital data systems used for TB screening, diagnostics and reporting including the testing, trouble shooting demonstration, capacity building of the teams in digital systems
- Maintain inventory at district level, forecast requirements and short supplies on timely manner
- Ensure accurate entry, validation and consolidation of program data.
- Track key indicators related to screening, testing and treatment linkage.
- Support district and central teams with program analytics and dashboards.
- Ensure alignment with national TB surveillance systems such as Nikshay.
- Conduct periodic data quality audits and corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Qualification and experience requirements will vary by state hiring norms but should align with relevant public health, clinical or community health backgrounds. Indicative payout ranges should follow market benchmarks for public health programs operating in remote geographies.
Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Data Management, Statistics, or Public Health.
Experience: 3–6 years in health data systems or monitoring roles
