Legal GPT for TNI

Brief: We are seeking a Legal Repository Project Consultant to design and implement a comprehensive digital repository for all legal and regulatory documents. The consultant will be responsible for identifying required documents, streamlining their organisation, and setting up a Smart, searchable, and secure system that ensures compliance, easy access, and long-term sustainability.

Deliverables: 

• Document Mapping: Identify, review, and categorise all legal and compliance documents relevant to Indian not-for-profit operations (e.g., registrations, FCRA, 12A, 80G, MoUs, audit and governance records).

• System Architecture: Develop the structure, tagging, and access framework for a centralised digital repository.

• Implementation: Set up and configure a suitable digital platform (e.g., Google Workspace, SharePoint, Airtable, or similar) for organised storage and retrieval.

• Data Consolidation: Collate, digitise (where needed), and catalogue existing documents into the new repository - A Legal GPT that reduces dependencies on external Legal counsel for use cases where we already have some precedence

• Training & Handover: Create clear SOPs and train staff to manage and update the repository efficiently.

Duration: 6 months

Ideal profile:

• Demonstrated experience in document management, legal compliance, or knowledge systems development

• Familiarity with Indian nonprofit legal and regulatory frameworks

• Hands-on experience with digital document management tools and cloud platforms.

• Strong organisational, analytical, and documentation skills
