Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sustainability & ESG Consultant to drive sustainability strategy and ESG practice for clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in materiality assessment, carbon footprint assessment, net zero strategy, BRSR reporting, ESG ratings, and sustainable supply chain management. The role will involve collaborating with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to implement effective sustainability solutions and business development activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with global ESG standards and frameworks.
• Conduct materiality assessments to identify key ESG priorities for the organization and clients.
• Lead the development and execution of net zero strategies, including carbon reduction initiatives and offset mechanisms.
• Should have a knowledge of carbon footprint assessments, including scope 1,2 and 3 emissions analysis.
• Have a working knowledge of power, energy and carbon markets.
• Oversee and create ESG ratings and ranking reports for clients.
• Should have a working knowledge of sustainable supply chains.
• Business development and client relationship management.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, carbon accounting methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in BRSR reporting, ESG rating assessments, and materiality analysis.
• Familiarity with sustainable supply chain management, circular economy, and net zero roadmaps.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in ESG data tools and platforms.
• Business development skills, including client engagement and proposal development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.
• Passionate about sustainability, climate action, and responsible business practices
