Job Description/Responsibilities
The Manager – Data Analytics will play a critical role in strengthening the data management, analysis, and reporting systems of the Take Home Ration (THR) program in Uttar Pradesh. This position will ensure data-driven decision-making, monitor program performance, and support operational efficiency across 204 THR enterprises, many of which are managed by women Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
Job Responsibilities
Data Strategy and Governance
- Develop and implement a robust data analytics strategy to support the THR program’s goals.
- Ensure data governance standards, including quality, privacy, and security protocols, are met across all program activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align data systems with program needs and reporting requirements.
Data Collection and Management
- Lead the design and execution of data collection tools and processes for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of THR enterprises.
- Oversee the integration of digital solutions to streamline data entry, storage, and retrieval.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets collected from multiple sources, including field reports and IoT-enabled solar systems.
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Perform advanced data analysis, including predictive and prescriptive analytics, to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the program.
- Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Support quarterly and annual program reporting with data-backed insights and evidence.
Capacity Building and Collaboration
- Train and mentor team members and stakeholders on data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with field teams, SHG members, and technical partners to ensure data utilization aligns with program goals.
- Collaborate with external evaluators, donors, and government agencies on program impact assessments.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Explore and implement cutting-edge technologies in analytics and digital solutions to enhance program outcomes.
- Propose and pilot new approaches to leveraging data for operational efficiency and program scalability.
- Monitor and refine analytics systems based on user feedback and evolving program requirements.
Any other role as per the requirement of the organization
- Reporting to Senior Program Manager
- Stakeholders- Government district officials from various government departments.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Development studies, or a related field.
- Experience required: At least 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in development programs or social enterprises. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS).
Skill and Competencies:
- Experience working with the Government or providing technical assistance to the
- Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for large-scale programs.
- Excellent knowledge of database management systems and cloud platforms (e.g., SQL, AWS, Azure).
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights.
- ability to work against tight
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal experience is must
- Willingness to travel to the field and support
