We focus on promoting traditional knowledge, organic farming, and rural development, empowering farming communities to achieve sustainable livelihoods.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Documentation and Programme Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead documentation efforts, support programme management, and contribute to the overall mission of sustainable agriculture and rural development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality documentation, including reports, case studies, proposals, and project updates.
- Manage programme-related correspondence independently and effectively.
- Develop communication materials to support training, workshops, and awareness initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects, ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with field teams to collect and synthesize data, success stories, and learnings.
- Assist in planning and implementing agricultural and livelihood programmes.
- Contribute to fundraising and grant-writing efforts by developing project proposals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Botany, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English with strong independent correspondence skills.
- Knowledge of Tamil (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and data management tools.
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Prior work experience in documentation and programme management in the NGO or agricultural sector.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Salary: ₹ 30,000 to ₹ 45,000 per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience).
