Job Description
Title of the Project: Species Conservation Program CAMPA- DOLPHIN
Develop and manage GIS databases for Gangetic River Dolphin habitat monitoring. Conduct spatial analysis of riverine ecosystems using GIS and remote sensing tools. Prepare high-resolution habitat maps and assess changes in river morphology, sandbars, and water flow dynamics.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences from recognized institute/ University
Desirable Qualification(s)
- Candidates with previous experience in GIS/RS software such as ERDAS Imagine, QGIS & ArcGIS, strong modelling and data analytics skills will be preferred.
Salary: 31,000 + HRA
