Research Assistant (RA)

Indian Institute of Management(IIM) Bodh Gaya has been established by the Government of India,Ministry of Education in 2015 at Bodh Gaya–the Land of Enlightenment. IIM BodhGaya is looking for dedicated and committed non-faculty members who believe in institution building and have passion for excellence.

Online applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant(RA) position under the project “Energy Sovereignty of Rural Households through Solar Energy: A Study of Odisha and Bihar” purely on Contractual basis for a period of 8 months starting from 1st April, 2025.

Consolidated emoluments: Rs.37,000/-per month (Consolidated) for the period of 8 months.

UpperAgeLimit:Preferably < 35 years

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (minimum 55%) with NET/M.Phil. /Ph.D.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates who have experience in carrying out primary data collection, and data analysis using software tools like SPSS and NVivo etc. are preferable. The knowledge of Odiya will and Hindi be a plus.

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience will be preferred.

Job Description:

1. Management and overseeing of the Data collection using primary survey.
2. Visiting the field for the selected districts.
3. Analysis of the primary & secondary data
4. Documentation, report writing & report preparation (including presentation),
5. Handing all aspects of management of project, record keeping and organizing the seminars.
6. Other tasks associated with the project as prescribe by the investigators of the project for the smooth execution of the project.
