Job Description

Prof. Sunil Maheshwari and Prof. Sanjay Verma of IIM Ahmedabad are inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant with a master’s degree in the Infrastructure or Energy Sector.

• Undertake detailed research and analysis in infrastructure or energy systems, focusing on aspects such as energy efficiency, sustainability, renewable energy, infrastructure development, and environmental impact.
• Collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data from various sources, including field surveys, case studies, and existing literature.
• Prepare detailed reports, research papers, and technical documents summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Conduct extensive literature reviews to stay up-to-date on trends, technologies, and developments in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Prepare presentations to communicate research outcomes effectively to internal teams, clients and other stakeholders.
• Analyze policies, regulatory frameworks and emerging trends in the energy/infrastructure sectors

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Candidates with master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Energy Systems, Sustainable
• Infrastructure, Environmental Engineering, etc.) should apply for the position. Candidates should possess
• the necessary analytical, technical, and communication skills to contribute effectively to our projects.

Experience:

• Previous experience (internships, academic projects, or 1-2 years) in the energy, infrastructure, or environmental research domain is preferred. Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
