About the Organization

We prepare youth for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities by working at the intersection of education and livelihood.

Our aim is to integrate vocational education with mainstream education at secondary and higher secondary education level (Grade 9-12 and student Age 14 to 18).

Job Responsibilities

Brand Development & Management:

  • Shape and position LAHI’s brand, reflecting the organization’s values, ethics, and impact.
  • Build a comprehensive brand strategy to drive visibility both internally and externally.

Strategic Communication & Media Engagement:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies, leveraging traditional and digital media to establish LAHI as a recognized brand.
  • Actively engage with media (including social media) to share LAHI’s story and achievements.

Representation & Outreach:

  • Represent LAHI at national, regional, and international forums, building the organization’s profile and network.
  • Serve as a key spokesperson for the organization, engaging with diverse stakeholders.

Partnership Development:

  • Build strategic communication partnerships with government bodies, industry, academia, and the social sector to promote skill education, internships, and employment.
  • Facilitate collaborations with public and private sectors to expand LAHI’s outreach and impact.

Internal Alignment & Collaboration:

  • Foster alignment between internal teams, partners, and external interventions to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Identify and address communication bottlenecks to enhance teamwork and drive results.

Relationship Management:

  • Act as a liaison between LAHI’s founders, senior management, and external stakeholders, managing relationships and ensuring seamless communication.

Team Development & Capacity Building:

  • Support team building by addressing challenges, nurturing collaboration, and driving initiatives to strengthen LAHI’s internal culture.
  • Facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing within the organization to enhance performance and achieve strategic goals.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 8-12 years in marketing, communications, outreach, or partnership development, preferably in the social or education sector.
  • Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute brand and communication strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Partnership Building: Strong track record of establishing partnerships with government, academia, and industry stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at managing media and public relations.
  • Leadership: Strategic thinker with experience in senior management roles, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Ability to foster teamwork and build relationships within and outside the organization.
