About the Organization

The National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP) was established on 24th November 1995 at Bangalore under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. The Institute is mandated to conduct basic and fundamental research with respect to animal feed resource management using physiological-nutritional approaches to improve animal productivity and profitability of livestock farmers.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• M.V.Sc/M.Sc. in Animal Nutrition/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with 60% marks with first division. NET qualification required of M.Sc. candidates.

Desirable qualifications

• At least one year experience in nutritional analysis including in vitro evaluation and handling of experimental animals.

Salary

Rs. 37,000/- per month plus 30% HRA for first and second year

Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 30% HRA for the third year. HRA will be provided if no accommodation is provided (as per ICAR guidelines).
