Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager – HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, with a strong focus on talent acquisition. Approximately 70% of the role will involve recruitment, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, and onboarding. The remaining responsibilities will cover employee life cycle management, payroll support, compliance, HR systems (BoonFace), grievances, exit processes and policy communication.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with all departments to initiate manpower requisitions (new or replacement hires).
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, shortlisting, coordinating interviews and selection.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline for high-demand positions.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely closure of open positions as per TAT.
  • Manage onboarding, offer letters, documentation, and induction planning.
  • Conduct joining formalities and verify employee documents.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate induction and orientation for new joiners.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new employees into the organization.
  • Update employee information in BoonFace (joining, transfers, changes).
  • Maintain physical and digital employee files.
  • Ensure all documents are correctly uploaded and mapped.
  • Record and process formal employee grievances as per policy.
  • Ensure timely resolution and closure of grievances.
  • Maintain confidentiality and documentation of all cases.
  • Communicate HR policies, amendments, and holiday lists.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting.
  • Conduct exit formalities and coordinate clearance processes.
  • Ensure timely closure of exit documentation.
  • Guide employees regarding available benefits and claim procedures.
  • Communicate joiners, leavers, transfers, and structural changes to departments.
  • Update organizational charts and manpower status.
  • Manage daily HR operational activities.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks, reporting, and HR initiatives within defined timelines.

Required Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in HR operations, with strong exposure to recruitment.
  • Experience in end-to-end hiring is mandatory.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
