Job Description

• Provide support for consulting projects focused on women’s socio-economic inclusion and empowerment, including expanding the knowledge base, drafting concepts, and contributing to projects on the care economy and gender-based violence. Conduct research to compile, analyse, and interpret gender and women’s economic empowerment issues, delivering high-quality reports.
• Collaborate with various domains and country teams within MSC to address gender-related matters, offering strategic and design inputs to ensure gender issues are identified and appropriately addressed.
• Document and share best practices from MSC’s GESI work, contributing to the development of knowledge products such as sectoral reports, policy briefs, and technical notes targeted at policymakers and practitioners in the gender space.
• Support business development initiatives for GESI thematic areas across Asia, South East Asia, the Pacific, and Africa.
• Develop and publish knowledge resources by identifying critical issues, lessons learned, and best practices from programs and projects undertaken with diverse clients across different regions.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Developmental Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Relevant professional qualifications in related disciplines.
• An academic background in gender studies is strongly preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Experience in research, consulting, and advisory services for clients, particularly in Asia, South-East Asia, and Africa.
• Proven ability to work effectively with larger teams.
