Job Description

Develop and maintain a robust understanding of developments in the field of industrial decarbonization with a focus on the hard-to-abet industry, transport, and MSMEs. The role also includes the understanding of larger energy policy & legislation and the associated issues of same; to ensure the effective integration of political and business advice and strategic thinking into issues and campaigns, and to influence the development of environmental negotiations, policy, and agreements, and the financial environment as required.

Job Responsibilities

• As a manager, you will collaborate directly with clients on projects or assignments. 
• Independently oversee projects and assignments while paying attention to details including quality, deadlines, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Oversee a group of consultants and analysts. Encourage, lead, and encourage the group to deliver work as a cohesive one and take ownership of teaching the less experienced team members.
• Answering EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tenders on different projects that have been issued by the relevant authorities. The benchmarking studies and related fields, as well as the business development initiatives in the industrial decarbonization field.
• Evaluate critical reviews of current or suggested policy frameworks and help in the development of new policies by taking suitable governance structures and mechanisms into consideration.
• Conduct sector-specific analyses and offer assistance with procedures for the creation of training materials and policy suggestions at the federal, state, and international levels.
• Conduct research on decarbonization, energy efficiency, and GHG accounting and reduction. Creation of a strategy or action plan for the implementation of decarbonization technologies.
• Evaluate projects’ technical and financial viability for a range of ID technologies. Creating detailed project reports in accordance with finance institutions’ or clients’ requests.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MBA in Power Management or Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science, Business Management, or Sustainable Management along with professional Certifications such as Certified Carbon Reduction Manager (CCRM) or Certified Energy Manager (CER).

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Experience in a related field with an understanding of large decarbonisation-related issues in India. The candidate must have better Research and consulting experience in ID technologies, such as fuel switching, green hydrogen, and Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), would be beneficial.
