About the Organization

The State Institute of Rural Development, Assam is the apex body in the broad field of training and research in rural development. The institute was registered under Societies registration Act 1860 during April’ 1998 and thereafter administrative and financial autonomy has been conferred by the government.

Job Description

Duration of the project is two years. The engagement will be initially for a period of one year which is extendable, subject to satisfactory performance. If the performance of the CDE is not found satisfactory, his/her services shall be discontinued at any time, even before completing one year. The incumbent will be posted at Ghilamora Development Block in Lakhimpur District.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduation from any recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam along with computer literate (knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Power point) and basic of accounts etc. The candidate must have minimum 5 years of postqualification working experience in community development project, Cluster development or similar.

Salary

Rs.40,000/- (Forty thousand) only
