About National Health Systems Resource Centre

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) of Government of India to serve as an apex body for technical assistance. Established in 2006, the National Health Systems Resource Centre's mandate is to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) at the centre and in the states. The goal of this institution is to improve health outcomes by facilitating governance reform, health systems innovations and improved information sharing among all stake holders at the national, state, district and sub-district levels through specific capacity development and convergence models.

Roles & Responsibilities

The expected roles of the incumbent are –

Backend Development (Node.js):

• Design and develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js
• Implement data transformation, validation, and deduplication logic
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend services

API Integration & Interoperability:

• Handle API orchestration, error handling, and retry mechanisms
• Ensure compliance with API standards and interoperability frameworks
• Manage versioning and backward compatibility of APIs

Frontend Development (Full Stack Role):

• Develop responsive UI components using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
• Optimize frontend performance and usability

Database & Data Management:

• Design and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL as applicable)
• Optimize queries and ensure efficient data retrieval
• Implement data security and access control mechanisms

Performance & Scalability:

• Optimize application performance for high concurrent usage
• Implement caching, load balancing, and asynchronous processing
• Monitor and improve system responsiveness

Security & Compliance:

• Implement secure coding practices and data protection measures
• Ensure compliance with government security guidelines and standards
• Address vulnerabilities and support security audits

Testing & Debugging:

• Basic testing and debugging at first level
• DevOps & Deployment Support:
• Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
• Support deployment, monitoring, and logging mechanisms
• Ensure smooth production releases

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with Business Analysts, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders
• Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and code

documentation

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and progress tracking

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./ B. Tech./ MCA/ M.E./ M. Tech from a recognized university or institution

Experience 

• 8 years of experience.

Desirable

• The resource may have 2 years of experience working in the Govt.
• health projects at National level.

Age Limit

• Up to 50 Years (as on the date of receiving the application) As per HR Policy

Remuneration Range

• Between Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 1,25,000/- per month (As per Policy)
