About the Organization

Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd" (SECI) is a CPSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), set up on 20th Sept, 2011 to facilitate the implementation of National Solar Mission (NSM) and achievement of targets set therein. It is the only CPSU dedicated to the renewable energy sector. It was originally incorporated as a section-25 (not for profit) company under the Companies Act, 1956.

However, through an amendment by Government of India, the company has been converted into a Section-3 company, in 2015, under the Companies Act, 2013. The mandate of the company has also been broadened to cover the entire renewable energy domain.

In the present outlook of the RE sector, SECI has a major role to play in the sector’s development. The company is one of the nodal agency for implementation of a number of schemes of MNRE. In addition, SECI has ventured into solar project development on turnkey basis for several PSUs/Government departments.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• B.E/ B. Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/institute.
• Two years of full-time MBA/PGDM (Marketing or Finance or a combination of both/ Power Management/ Strategic Management/ Corporate Strategy) is desirable.

Experience & Age Limit

• Candidate should possess a minimum of 13 years of post-qualification in-line experience in an executive position in an organization of repute in handling activities related to Project Monitoring, planning, and management using project portfolio management software.
• In-line experience includes project management, scheduling, risk analysis, opportunity management, resource management, etc.
• Candidate should have experience in monitoring infrastructure projects of value not less than 500 crores.
• Applicant if working on a regular basis in PSU/ Govt should have completed at least 2 years of service in the pay scale of ₹ 80000 – 220000/- (IDA) or equivalent CDA scale.
• Applicant if working in the Private sector must have 2 years of service in a Company of repute drawing an annual CTC of ₹ 30 Lacs.
• Age Limit: 45 years
