Sangath is one of India's leading mental health research non-profit organization. It was founded in 1996 with its headquarters in Goa; major hubs in Delhi and Bhopal, and project sites in many parts of the country. Sangath's mission and expertise lies in developing and evaluating mental health interventions to be delivered through existing public systems. Its major thematic areas are: Child development and disability; adolescent health; mental disorders; and ageing.

Job Responsibilities

• This position would report to District Coordinator
• Complete all the training procedures to become credentialed as a Thinking Healthy Program-Peer Delivered (THPP) and Lalan Palan Supervisor. THPP is an evidence based ‘task sharing’ psychosocial intervention for perinatal depression and Lalan Palan is a videobased parenting intervention for early child development
• Provide routine supervision to the ASHAs and Anganwadi workers on a weekly basis for THPP and Lalan Palan interventions
• Resolve any technical and field challenges faced by the ASHA and Anganwadi workers during trainings and delivery of these interventions
• Work under the leadership of district coordinator to organize public engagement activities, ASHA trainings, Anganwadi workers refresher trainings and building linkages with the district health systems
• Providing regular updates about the field-level activities to the district and project coordinators
• Keep all the records up to date for reporting.
• Any other task as assigned by the supervisor.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate in any field with experience in social work

Desirable-

• Masters level education in social work, or any other relevant discipline.
• Experience of atleast 1 years in counseling, training, supervision, and prior field experience in development sector,
• Experience of training and working with community-based workers like ASHAs and Anganwadi workers
