Job Description/Responsibilities

As the District Supervisor ,you would be responsible the following:

• Supervise and oversee the reform and implementation of the Akshar Education Model in 5 Government Schools in Dhekiajuli District of Assam
• Collaborate with the School Heads, Leadership Team at Akshar, Akshar Coordinators in Dhekiajuli to understand requirements and plan the activities in the School for the implementation of the Akshar Program
• Supervise a team of 5 Akshar Coordinators and 10 Junior Social Workers to ensure smooth implementation of the Akshar Education Model in the Government Schools
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to Plan and strategize for the implementation of the program in the Government Schools
• Build and maintain good relations with the School Heads, Government Teachers and Staff, Government Officials and other stakeholders

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Reading, Writing and speaking proficiency of English
• Speaking proficiency in Assamese is good to have.

Experience:

• At          Least     5-6         years     work     experience         working              in           Educational Program/NGO/Fellowship/Program Management
• Post Graduation in Education/Management/Social Sciences(Good to have)
• Atleast 2-3 years experience in leadership/team management in official capacity
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication Skills
• Teacher Training experience(Good to have)
