Job Description
The HRBP, Operations will report to the Senior Manager, HR & Administration, and will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations in India. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in diverse projects and gain valuable experience working in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to handle:
HR Operations:
- Manage and process employee lifecycle events including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, transition and terminations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Act as the first point of contact for all HRIS and HR Operations related queries within our HR Helpdesk
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Monitor HR Partner Agencies related to recruitment, payroll and reimbursements
- Hold exit and entry interviews to gather feedback on the process and to make sure new team members are engaged
- Where system reporting is not available, maintain trackers for off line HR processes, for example HR budget allocation, split pay, etc.
- Managing 1-2 junior team members and overseeing the processes they manage
Employee Services:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
- Address and resolve employee concerns
- Ensure a high level of HR service and satisfaction in all employee interactions.
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
- Design, plan and execute local engagement initiatives.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure HR compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain statutory HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support organization decisions and HR initiatives.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Process management:
- Partner with Project teams, HRBPs at HQ on key HR Processes
- Support in employee’s performance evaluation process (review evaluation forms, summarize outcomes of the process such as promotions and training requests
- Support in specific areas such as competencies framework, job description, organograms, presentation etc.
- Analyze Data & bring out insights related to the HR processes.
- Maintain and strengthen HR projects and initiatives, including policies and procedures.
- Analyze HR processes to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement automation solutions
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Post-graduate in Psychology or HR
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with relevant experience in HR operations
- Sound knowledge of HR audit and legal aspects is mandatory
- Ability to take initiative with low supervision, good judgment
- We would prefer candidates with experience in single handedly managing HR Operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
- Experience in Payroll, Compensation, HR analytics, and ERP would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
