Job Description

The Manager - Payments and Distribution should have responsibilities that will not be limited to:

The senior analyst plays a crucial role in advancing institutional objectives by delivering exceptional services to clients, addressing specific project needs and situations. Responsibilities include leading tasks or work streams within assignments, with a primary focus on providing technical support across diverse domains. Additionally, the senior analyst offers ongoing support and guidance to staff in their area of responsibility, ensuring quality delivery in alignment with MSC's prescribed approaches and frameworks. As they contribute to MSC's client delivery work, senior analysts strive to enhance their knowledge and expertise in core areas, potentially specializing in a specific practice or domain over time.

Business Development: 

• Establish connections with current and prospective clients.
• Initiate efforts to foster client relationships.
• Create and present proposals to generate business, especially for the Practice Group to which the individual belongs.
• Represent MicroSave at conferences and similar events.
• Contribute as an author or co-author to thematic publications derived from field experiences (such as Focus notes/Briefing notes).
• Participate actively in Marketing Activities and engage in Digital Media dialogues, including blogs and discussion forums.

Human Capital Development:

• Conduct assessments on "Quality of Delivery" and provide feedback to team members following assignment execution, adhering to quality control guidelines.
• Assist and bolster the development of fellow staff by offering guidance and advice as needed.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and foster opportunities for mentoring.
• Take responsibility for self-development by acquiring skills and knowledge that contribute value to the organization.

Business Execution:

• Take the lead or provide support in planning and executing medium/large-scale technical assistance projects.
• Conduct setup and debrief meetings for assignments under one's responsibility.
• Establish rapport with different contacts within the client organization to ensure the successful execution of assignments.
• Thoroughly plan and carry out assignments with the highest level of diligence.
• Supervise and assist in the process of report writing and data analysis.
• Review delivered training courses, prepared research papers, developed curriculum, and provided technical assistance to clients.
• Contribute to the creation of MicroSave's tool kits and other publications.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• A graduate-level degree, specifically a master's degree or higher, in Business, Economics, Sociology, or a closely related field from a well-regarded institution.
