About the Organization
Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.
Job Description
- Coordinate implementation of NAP-AMR with various stakeholder ministries/department
- Support states in development and implementation of state action plans,
- Participate in International collaborations on AMR
- Support development of formats for Surveillance of Healthcare associated infections, finalise essential data fields and coordinate with network sites for data entry
- Technical support for Data analysis, compilation, developing National trends
- Regular feedback for data quality to all sites and follow up to get corrected data
- Develop guidelines and SoPs for programme sites
- Conduct induction trainings and refresher trainings
- Periodic visits to states for monitoring the implementation of the program plan.
- Any other work/activity assigned from time to time
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- MBBS recognized by MCI with MD (Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social Medicine/Health Administration/ Community Health Administration) recognized by MCI/DNB OR
- MBBS with Diploma in Public Health; or Diploma in Industrial Health or Diploma in Tropical Medicine; or Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene or Diploma in Health Administration
Experience (Years):
- For MBBS & MD/DNB- At least 3 years’ experience in the concerned Specialty after obtaining the post-graduate degree For MBBS with Diploma: With 5 years’ experience in the Specialty of Public health/ Epidemiology/ Preventive Medicine after obtaining the Diploma
- Must be Proficient in computer applications (MS-Word, Excel, and Power point)
Desirable:
- Experience of working in public health /public health programme after obtaining post graduate degree
Salary
Rs. 1,25,000/month consolidated. No other allowances are permissible
