Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant for a project on Socioeconomic Needs Assessment.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyzing the primary and secondary data to prepare necessary tables, charts and maps.
• Preparing the draft report for the project.
• Assist the PI and Co-PI in training; travelling to the project locations for data collection and/or supervision (quantitative & qualitative).
• Any other matter as deemed by the PI/Co-PI.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• Master's Degree in Social Sciences and allied fields with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks.
• Knowledge in Statistics, Data Analysis and Economics/Sustainability/Public Health.

Desirable:

• Two years of work experience in academic and/or research. Strong writing and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in Assamese and/or Gujrati is preferred.
• Knowledge of STATA/ R, MS Word, Excel, Power-point.

Salary

Remuneration: Gross monthly remuneration INR. 40,000 - 50,000/- (based on qualification and experience).
