Eligibility Criteria:

• Freshers (degree completed) and/or up to 2 years of Experience

Job Description:

• Quantitative and economic analysis / statistical modelling, AI based training (R/Python, Excel preferred) for research and ESG-related data analysis
• Analyzing climate-related financial disclosures (ESG, BRSR, TCFD, SASB, SFDR etc.)
• Assisting Indian funds/companies to become compliant with international sustainability frameworks
• Conducting high-quality literature review on climate policy, climate-related financial disclosures and sustainable finance
• Assisting in secondary data collection, data cleaning and analysis (including large data sets)
• Contributing to capacity-building workshops/training modules on ESG and climate reporting
• Preparing reports/papers for publications
• Supporting project administration and institutional coordination as required

Qualifications:

• MA in Economics (or MA Honours in Economics), or MSc (Economics) is required; candidates with related master’s degrees (e.g., data science, data analytics, business analytics, public policy) may also be considered.
• Proficiency in AI-enabled data analytics data analytics tools such as Python, R, Excel is preferable.
• It is desirable that the candidate should know about sustainable finance, sustainable business management, climate policy, ESG or related fields.
• The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and, preferably, a command of statistical tools.

Duration:

• This is a full-time temporary position funded for one year (including an initial period of 6 months), which could be extended based on performance and project requirements.

Remuneration:

• Compensation would vary depending upon qualifications and experience and would be as per IIMA norms for Research Assistants/Research Associates (RA).
