कायर् िववरण/Job Description 

This is a multi-institutional program with CSIR-IGIB and Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence. At NII, the project requires experimentation using C. elegans as a model system. The candidate will perform extensive molecular genetics analysis, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, generation of transgenic lines, mitochondrial isolation, proteomics, and metabolomics.

शैक्षिणक यो�ता/Educational Qualifications

• For RA-I: PhD in any branch of Biological Science with adequate training in molecular genetics.
• For SRF: M.Sc. or MTech. in any area of Life Sciences with a good academic record and at least 2 years of research experience in molecular genetics in laboratory settings.
• The candidates must have cleared any National Level Eligibility Test such as NET/GATE etc.

आव�क कौशल/Skill Requirements

• C. elegans genetics and cell biology skills will be needed for the project.
• Candidates with skills in mitochondrial biology, proteomics, metabolomics, and cell culture will be preferred.

प�रल��यां /Emoluments For RA-I: 

• Rs. 58,000/- per month plus 30% HRA.

For SRF:

• Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 30% HRA. (As per DST OM dated 26.06.2023)
