Job Description

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad requires a Research Associate for the ePost Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics (ePGD-ABA) Programme.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand the tools and technologies specific to e-learning and blended learning development and delivery.
• Working closely with the instructors and assisting them in programming, coding, testing, material development etc.
• Preparing the lab study material in coordination with the instructors and assisting students in programming lab and solving their doubts.
• Provide academic as well as technical assistance to the faculty members teaching the analytics courses.
• Analyse large datasets using tools such as Python, R, SQL, or Excel.
• Conduct reviews to identify existing knowledge and gaps in course/curriculum.
• Assist in organizing workshops, webinars, or presentations.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Should have some vision about the development of analytical changes across the globe.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential Qualification:

• The candidate should have B.E./B.Tech /M.Sc / M.Tech in Statistics/ Computer Science/Data Science/Information Technology/Operations Research/ Econometrics from any recognized university with 60% marks or equivalent.
• Good programming skills in R and Python.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. degree.

Work Experience:

• Some work experience in AI/ML/business analytics with reputed institute/corporates is desired.

Required Technical Skills:

• A clear understanding of Business Analytics, Data Science, Visualization, Big Data etc.
• Knowledge of different analytical tools such as R Programming, Python, STATA etc.
• Knowledge of data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI etc.
• Strong foundation on Statistics and Mathematics/OR Econometrics etc.
• Familiarity with databases and query languages.
• An analytical mind-set who enjoys helping participants solving problems and turning data into useful actionable information.
