Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate for a project on Socioeconomic Needs Assessment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing questionnaire and interview guide for the project.
• Review relevant literature for the project.
• Analyzing the primary and secondary data to prepare necessary tables, charts and maps.
• Report writing and preparing the draft research paper for publication.
• Assist the PI and Co-PI in training; travelling to the project locations for field survey supervision and data collection (quantitative & qualitative).
• Any other matter as deemed by the PI/Co-PI.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential

• Master's Degree in Social Sciences and allied fields with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks.
• Knowledge in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Analytics and Economics/Sustainability/Public Health.

Desirable:

• PhD (submitted or awarded) in Social Science is desirable.
• Two years of work experience in academic and/or research. Good writing and oral communication skills in English.
• Advanced knowledge of STATA/ R, MS Word, Excel, Power-point.

Salary

Remuneration: Gross monthly remuneration INR. 70,000 - 80,000/- (based on qualification and experience).
