About the Organization

Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd" (SECI) is a CPSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), set up on 20th Sept, 2011 to facilitate the implementation of National Solar Mission (NSM) and achievement of targets set therein. It is the only CPSU dedicated to the renewable energy sector. It was originally incorporated as a section-25 (not for profit) company under the Companies Act, 1956.

However, through an amendment by Government of India, the company has been converted into a Section-3 company, in 2015, under the Companies Act, 2013. The mandate of the company has also been broadened to cover the entire renewable energy domain.

In the present outlook of the RE sector, SECI has a major role to play in the sector’s development. The company is one of the nodal agency for implementation of a number of schemes of MNRE. In addition, SECI has ventured into solar project development on turnkey basis for several PSUs/Government departments.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in any Discipline with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Institute/University and
    • Two years Post Graduate Degree in Social Work / Business Administration / Business Management with a Specialization in Personnel Management / HRM / Industrial Relations / Labour Welfare with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Institute/University.

  • Post Graduate Degree / Diploma of minimum two years duration in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / HRM / Labour Welfare / Labour Management / Labour Administration / Labour Studies with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Master / Graduate Degree in Law is desirable.

Experience & Age Limit

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 16 years of post-qualification in-line executive experience in an organization of repute in the field of Human Resources/ Personnel Management / HRD out of which at least 08 years’ experience in handling Manpower Planning, Recruitment & Selection/ Establishment & Policy Matters/ Training & Skill Development, Competency and Leadership Mapping/ Performance Management/ HR Branding, Employee Relations & Welfare.
  • Applicant if working on a regular basis in PSU/ Govt. should have completed at least 2 years of service in the pay scale of ₹ 90000 – 240000/- (IDA) or equivalent CDA scale.
  • Applicant if working in the Private sector must have 2 years of service in a Company of repute drawing an annual CTC of ₹ 35 Lacs.
  • Age Limit: 48 years
