Location: Work from Trichy office, including travel to program locations in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha

CTC: INR 10 Lakh per annum (including benefits)

Linsi Foundation, Switzerland is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee human resources for the Family Focused Village Development Program (FFVDP). This role is based at Visions Global Empowerment India office in Trichy and requires the candidate to manage HR operations within the India team, while also supporting partner NGOs to ensure effective program implementation.

Role Summary

The HR Officer is responsible for the overall management of the organization's human resources, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and operational needs. This includes recruitment, onboarding, training, review, and employee relations. HR Officer also ensures compliance with HR policies and labor laws across all regions where the organization operates, including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and other regions if needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Management: Lead and manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and staff welfare for the India team.

Training & Capacity Building: Develop and implement training programs to build the capacity of both the in-house team and partner NGO teams, aligning with program objectives and best HR practices.

Staff Development: Create and manage employee development plans, focusing on continuous professional growth. Promote employee welfare and act as a liaison between staff and management to address workplace issues and grievances.

Performance Management: Lead the organization’s performance management process, including setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, and facilitating performance improvement plans. Ensure that performance management is conducted in a fair, transparent, and objective manner.

Policy Compliance & Legal Adherence: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure that all HR practices comply with labor laws, organizational policies, and ethical standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for each employee, including personal details, employment contracts, job descriptions, performance reviews, and training records. Develop and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures manuals and the entire recruitment process, from job requisitions and interview notes to offer letters and employment agreements.

Support to Partner NGOs: Provide strategic HR guidance to partner NGOs to help strengthen their human resource functions and improve program delivery.

Coordination & Communication: Facilitate seamless communication across the team and with partner NGOs to ensure HR and program goals are met efficiently.

Development of a partner feedback and a grievance mechanism

Other tasks:  HR Officer may be assigned other tasks of documenting and reporting, on need basis.

Eligibility criteria:

Qualification:

Masters degree in Human Resources

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a HR in reputed organisation, preferably in the  social development sector

Skills and Competencies:

  • Leadership skills and Organisational skills
  • Experience in conducting capacity-building training for teams is highly desirable.
