Educational Qualification
- Graduation or above.
- Candidates with a background or academic exposure in Gender Studies will be preferred.
Language Preference
- Hindi
- English
- Any relevant regional language
Desired Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management, including developing and executing change management initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Experience in training and large-group facilitation will be preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with Government stakeholders or departments.
- Experience working with youth and/or women.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working directly with communities.
- Experience in the Livelihoods and/or Gender domain will be preferred.
- Experience working with State Rural Livelihoods Missions (SRLMs) and/or Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will be an advantage.
- Experience in managing and leading teams.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Program Manager – SOG Operations will be responsible for:
Fellowship and Team Management
- Manage and provide guidance to Gandhi Fellows and Karuna Fellows.
- Ensure effective performance management of Fellows.
- Support and ensure the learning and fellowship processes of Fellows.
- Design field visits and work plans for Fellows.
- Build team capabilities and provide ongoing mentoring and support.
Program and Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day program operations and implementation.
- Roll out and execute program implementation strategies.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of planned activities.
- Implement assessments and use findings to strengthen program delivery.
- Execute Live Action Projects to integrate social and programmatic impact.
- Ensure effective service delivery by strengthening functional skills.
Livelihoods and Community Engagement
- Support the development of market-viable skills within the Livelihood sector.
- Build partnerships with local livelihood institutions.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with NGOs and other social sector organizations.
- Engage with communities and relevant stakeholders to strengthen program outcomes.
Government and Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Government stakeholders.
- Facilitate large-group training and engagement sessions for Government stakeholders, Gandhi Fellows, Karuna Fellows, and staff.
- Ensure effective coordination and collaboration with internal departments.
- Manage relationships with external partners and key stakeholders to support program implementation.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
- Develop basic program and operational reports.
- Document program learnings, progress, and outcomes.
- Develop case studies, impact stories, and use cases to capture and communicate program impact.
